Why is it important to take a break?
Taking a break between two applications gives your nails a moment of rest. rest and regeneration. This helps to:
– To prevent brittle or splitting nails,
– Rehydrate the nail plate,
– Stimulate natural growth,
– And keep a longer lasting manicure in the long term!
The essentials for a successful skincare routine
Here are our recommendations, tested and approved by the LPN Nails team:
- Buffer : to smooth without damaging
- Cleaner : to clean the surface and remove residue
- LPN Cuticle Oil Nourishing, with a delicate fragrance
- Hand & nail cream daily hydration
- Rubber Base : to strengthen even during periods "without nail polish"“

The complete routine, step by step
1. Clean and degrease your nails
Use a gentle cleaner To remove impurities, dust and sebum. Your nails must be clean before any application.
2. Push back your cuticles (gently!)
Use a cuticle stick or tip to gently lift the lunula without damaging the skin.
* Tip: Apply a little cuticle oil beforehand to soften.
3. File and polish the surface
Reshape your natural nails gently with a fine-grit file, then apply the polishing block to smooth without pressing too hard.
4. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate
Cuticle oil is your number 1 ally: apply it every night and massage in.
Add a hand & nail cream every day, especially after washing your hands.
5. Option: Reinforce without varnish
If your nails are fragile, apply a thin layer of transparent rubber base. It protects, strengthens, and remains discreet.
